Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 August 2026.
Who this policy is issued by
This Privacy Policy is issued by DHD Group Pty Ltd ABN 92 608 566 150, which operates the registered business name Nivens Tech and the Nivens brand (‘Nivens’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’).
What this policy covers
This policy explains how Nivens handles personal information collected through this website. It is written to meet the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We collect personal information only when you give it to us. On this website, that is the enquiry form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company, if you give it
- What you are enquiring about, and the priority you select
- Anything you write in the message field
We do not ask for sensitive information — health, financial, biometric or similar — and you should not send it through this form.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, and to prepare and discuss a Digital MRI if you have asked for one. We do not use your details for any other purpose, and we do not sell personal information.
Where your information is stored and processed
This website
Information submitted through the Nivens website is processed using WordPress.com infrastructure operated by Automattic. Because WordPress.com uses global infrastructure, website enquiry data may be processed or stored outside Australia.
Systems Nivens builds and operates
This is separate from client workloads and infrastructure operated by Nivens. Personal information held in systems that Nivens builds and operates is stored in the Amazon Web Services Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region (ap-southeast-2).
Artificial intelligence
Where artificial intelligence is used to deliver our services, inference is performed through Amazon Bedrock in Australian regions. Nivens does not submit client or customer information to consumer artificial intelligence services, and information provided to Nivens is not used to train artificial intelligence models.
Overseas disclosure
Where personal information is disclosed to an overseas service provider, Nivens takes reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient handles the information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How long we keep your information
We retain enquiry information for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you, unless you become a client or we are required to retain the information for a longer period by law.
If you become a client, relevant information may be transferred to our client records and retained in accordance with our legal, contractual and operational obligations.
When personal information is no longer reasonably required, we securely delete it or permanently de-identify it.
Who can see your information
Incoming enquiries are accessible only to authorised members of the Nivens leadership team who require access to assess and respond to them.
Personal information may also be processed by service providers that support our website, email, hosting, security and business operations. These providers may only process personal information for the services they provide to us.
We do not sell personal information.
We may disclose personal information:
- To service providers supporting our operations.
- With the individual’s consent.
- Where disclosure is required or authorised by law.
- Where necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of Nivens, our clients or others.
The service providers confirmed as processing information through this website are Automattic, which operates WordPress.com and provides the hosting, statistics, spam-checking, font and image services described in this policy.
Website analytics and cookies
This website uses analytics to understand how visitors use it, to maintain its security and to improve its content and performance. The following was established by auditing the site on 12 August 2026:
- Google Analytics 4 is active, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Tag Manager container GTM-5SVLQMMC loads on every page, and it contains a single tag: the Google tag for Analytics 4 property G-KEYNH97810. The container was checked directly in Tag Manager and holds that one tag, no triggers and no variables, so nothing else reaches a visitor through it.
- Analytics sets two cookies for a visitor who is not signed in. Loading a page sets two first-party cookies, both belonging to Analytics 4. One (_ga) holds a randomly generated identifier for the browser. The other (_ga_KEYNH97810) holds session state for that Analytics property. Nothing was written to local storage.
- Opening the enquiry form sets no further cookies. Loading the contact page and typing into the enquiry form added nothing beyond the two cookies already set on the first page load.
- Jetpack Stats is also active. The site loads Automattic’s statistics script and tracking pixel (stats.wp.com and pixel.wp.com) on every page, alongside Analytics 4.
- No advertising, remarketing or session-recording tools are running. No advertising pixel, remarketing tag, heat-mapping tool or session-recording tool was found in the rendered pages, and the Tag Manager container contains nothing that would load one.
- Enquiry submissions are checked by Akismet. Gravity Forms has its Akismet integration enabled, so the content of a submission is sent to Automattic for spam assessment.
- Fonts, images and analytics are served by third parties. Web fonts load from fonts.wp.com and images through i0.wp.com, and the Tag Manager and Analytics scripts load from googletagmanager.com. A visitor’s IP address is therefore visible to Automattic and to Google when a page loads.
Depending on the tools enabled, the information collected may include your IP address, approximate geographic location, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, date and time of visits, referral source, website interactions, and cookie or device identifiers.
This information may be processed by analytics and technology providers in Australia or overseas.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (07) 3518 8467 or email simpleit@nivens.tech and we will action it.
